RUSSIAN LINGUIST (2026-1203)

McLean, VA – Full Time

RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Translate technical documentation from Russian to English.

·      Assignments involving oral interpretation on various topics. 

·      Ability and willingness to go on work trips lasting once month or longer, several times per year, to include austere and high-risk locations. 

·      Interpretation may include individual meetings or conference-type settings.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

·      Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly.

·      Ability to pass an English grammar test.

·      Working proficiency in Russian.

·      Ability to pass a translation test from the source language into English with a minimum of 3 on the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Scale. (Higher scores qualify for higher rates.)

·      Ability to pass a medical clearance for travel to any area.

PREFERRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

·      B.A. Degree.

·      Prior experience and/or training in consecutive interpretation.
