FARSI Translator (2026-1205)

McLean, VA – Full Time

RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Translate documentation from Farsi to English. Topics include

·      Assignments involving oral interpretation on various topics. 

·      Ability and willingness to go on work trips lasting once month or longer, several times per year, to include austere and high-risk locations. 

·      Interpretation may include individual meetings or conference-type settings.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

·      Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly.

·      Ability to pass an English grammar test.

·      Working proficiency in Farsi.

·      Ability to pass a translation test from the source language into English with a minimum of 3 on the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Scale. (Higher scores qualify for higher rates.)

·      Demonstrated proficiency with one or more Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) platforms.

PREFERRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

·      B.A. Degree.

·      Subject Matter Expertise in science and technology, military affairs, cyber, political science, cultural and regional knowledge.
